James E. DeFranco, president of the firm, settled in excess of $2 million in 2009 in cases involving personal injury, riparian rights, and insurance coverage. In 2010, the firm is aggressively pursuing claims for failure to indemnify, provide insurance coverage, and third party actions for contribution on behalf of its corporate clients. The firm takes particular pride in cases in which the firm recovers far in excess of what it charges its client.

The firm has seen a significant increase in cases involving suspected insurance fraud since the economic downturn in 2008 and has partnered with its insurance clients to develop cost-effective methods of investigating and resolving insurance coverage claims.
